A Yellow Cat’s Travelogue – Yehliu Geological Park(예류)
The Story about Yehliu Geological Park– Feature
This place called Yehliu Geological Park(Geopark) is one of the most fascinating places in Taiwan. I must have enjoyed with various kind of Rocks but the only thing I could remember is Mushroom Rock as you can see above; I surely looked a guide contents explaining about sort of Rocks like Mushroom rock, Ginger rock, cleavage, pothole or something like that. The time that I visited here was little bit crowded and humid and I couldn’t find any place that I can’t see the people. definitely packed with people like other travel attraction does have. The easiest way not to be disturbed by people here is just walking along the road and cut into the area having stones like mushroom.

As you can see above, that’s a guide map. I think you don’t really need to follow the guide map and explanation. Because unless you studied Geological knowledge, that would just look like interesting yellow rock like I did… So, to know the basic information would be enough to enjoy! 🙂 The total distance measured from the entrance to the end is about 1.7km remaining the wideness as less than 300m. The most widest vertical length is practically 300m. My case, strong wind from sea just made me feel fresh~! You know that this place is just the result of being corroded by sea water. I cannot be too describable, once I’ve experienced the greatness of nature like this.
Photo right above is the bridge you could see after walking along the road for 10~15mins. I could see swimming cute fish under the bridge though, I’m not sure if you could catch that luck to see it.
There are so many mush room rock.. so, I guess we don’t need to fight to take a photo with this rock… choose whatever you want to take a photo with. haha.
